Talent Services Specialist

At Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations, we give electronics their next best life while protecting our planet and our customers' interests. As a Certified Great Place to Work since 2017, we've built a team culture that's rewarding, engaging, and FUN! But don't just take our word for it-see what our Team Members have to say.

How We Hire: The Head, Heart, and Briefcase

At Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations, we believe great performance comes from alignment across three areas:

  • Head - your natural behavioral drives and cognitive agility (measured by our Predictive Index assessment)
  • ️Heart - your values, passions, and what drives you to make a meaningful impact
  • Briefcase - your experiences, skills, and results from past roles

Every step of our process is designed to understand you in all three areas. It's how we ensure the best mutual fit, not just for what you can do, but for how you'll thrive here long-term.

You'll start with the Predictive Index (PI) assessment (takes <20 minutes total), then move through structured interviews, work samples, and culture-focused interviews. We respect your time and promise clear, timely communication throughout.

Work Location: Onalaska, WI

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annually

Benefits Include:

  • Comprehensive health benefits starting the first of the month following hire
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Profit sharing
  • Generous paid time off and paid holidays

Your Purpose

As a Talent Services Specialist, you'll deliver high-quality, efficient support across payroll, benefits, and the full team member lifecycle. You'll leverage HRIS systems and data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and insight, while creating a seamless, positive experience for every team member you support.

Your work will directly strengthen our People Operations foundation, helping us scale with confidence, consistency, and care.

What You'll Do

  • Process weekly payroll with precision, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Manage payroll adjustments, reporting, and resolve team member inquiries with a service-first mindset
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS data integrity; generate reports and insights (turnover, compa-ratio, compliance)
  • Support the full team member lifecycle-from onboarding through offboarding and benefits transitions
  • Administer benefits programs, including life-event support, education, and open enrollment
  • Manage leave of absence programs (FMLA, personal leave, and more) and ensure proper documentation and compliance
  • Handle workers' compensation and unemployment claims in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and drive process improvements across payroll, benefits, and HR systems

What You Bring (Briefcase)

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field (Bachelor's preferred). Additional relevant experience will be considered instead of formal education
  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing for an organization with 100+ employees
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (Paycom strongly preferred)
  • Exposure to benefits administration and broader HR operations

Skills & Abilities (Head)

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance regulations, and benefits administration
  • High attention to detail with a track record of accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and report on HR data
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills in a high-volume environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to navigate HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools effectively
  • Critical thinker who can solve problems and improve processes

️ Who You Are (Heart)

You're someone who thrives on getting the details right, because you know people are counting on it. You bring a strong sense of ownership, handle sensitive information with discretion, and approach every interaction with professionalism and care.

You're naturally curious and always looking for ways to improve processes, simplify complexity, and make things better for both the business and the people behind it. You're just as comfortable working independently as you are collaborating across team, and you don't shy away from rolling up your sleeves when things get busy.
