What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Infrastructure Coordinator to support critical Talent operations and initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of talent lifecycle processes, onboarding programs, and cross-functional coordination across Talent Solutions and Legal Talent Integration (LTI).

Talent Lifecycle Coordination

  • Coordinate and track Talent initiatives, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly documented and executed.
  • Partner with onboarding teams, HRIS, and business stakeholders to optimize onboarding processes and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Act as a liaison across teams to maintain alignment and ensure follow-through on action items.
  • Monitor and audit talent lifecycle data (onboarding, internal transfers, leaves of absence, etc.) for accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify, escalate, and support resolution of data discrepancies across systems, including collaboration with Finance.
  • Provide day-to-day support to Talent Infrastructure and LTI teams, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare and maintain documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale onboarding programs.
  • Draft and coordinate internal communications and maintain up-to-date program materials.
  • Support special projects and research initiatives as needed.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports using dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Track onboarding milestones and ensure events run smoothly for candidates.
  • Deliver organized data insights and summaries for leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance reporting efficiency and analytical workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce manual work, and improve workflows.
  • Support the implementation of new tools, systems, and processes, including documentation and training.
  • Explore and adopt new technologies to enhance Talent operations.
  • Continuously develop skills and contribute ideas to improve how work is performed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-4 years of experience in operations, coordination, HR, or administrative roles
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, resourceful, and collaborative mindset
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Strong interest in learning new systems and technologies

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools is a plus

Compensation

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in Chicago. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range:

Chicago: $67,000 - $83,000
