Talent Director

Position Overview

At Chick-fil-A Streets at SouthGlenn, we are committed to being our community’s favorite restaurant and employer of choice for ambitious individuals. The Talent Director plays a vital leadership role in building and developing a high-performing team through intentional recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and leadership development.

This leader will help shape the future of our restaurant by identifying great talent, creating exceptional onboarding experiences, and developing systems that help team members grow personally and professionally. The Talent Director will champion a culture of excellence, care, accountability, and continuous development throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring

  • Lead all recruiting efforts to attract high-quality candidates aligned with our culture and values
  • Manage hiring pipelines, applicant communication, and interview processes
  • Develop recruiting strategies through community engagement, social media, referrals, schools, and local partnerships
  • Ensure a professional, organized, and hospitable hiring experience for all candidates
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities

Onboarding & Training

  • Oversee onboarding systems to ensure new team members feel welcomed, prepared, and connected
  • Create and maintain effective training systems and processes
  • Ensure all team members receive clear role expectations and operational training
  • Monitor training completion, follow-up coaching, and training effectiveness
  • Partner with Directors and Shift Managers to ensure consistent execution of training standards

Team Member Development

  • Build leadership development pathways for team members and future leaders
  • Coach and mentor team members toward personal and professional growth
  • Help identify high-potential individuals and create growth opportunities
  • Facilitate development conversations, performance feedback, and accountability processes
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Culture & Team Experience

  • Champion a healthy, encouraging, and high-performing culture
  • Support team engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and retention strategies
  • Help create an environment where team members feel valued, challenged, and cared for
  • Model servant-hearted leadership and professionalism in all interactions
  • Uphold the mission and values of Chick-fil-A Streets at SouthGlenn

Organizational Excellence

  • Maintain organization and accuracy in personnel systems, training records, and onboarding documentation
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices
  • Partner with leadership to improve communication, alignment, and team effectiveness
  • Continuously evaluate and improve talent development systems and processes

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, training, recruiting, or people development
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for developing people and building strong teams
  • Ability to lead with a high level of ownership, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and servant leadership
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed
