Job Title: Talent Advisor [Durham NC] x 2
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
Location: Durham, NC
- Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates*
Job Summary:
- Drive attraction and selection of employees through supporting Senior Talent Advisors with initial sourcing strategy and
candidate identification and matching.
- Execute recruiting and interview process by managing the following processes for assigned corporate positions, which may
include exempt as well as non-exempt and high volume positions: sourcing, screening/testing, conducting phone screens, ,
request reference checks/criminal background checks and generate offers.
- Provide advisory search recruiting services including: research, market intelligence, sourcing, candidate development,
assessment, and advising clients.
- Screen potential candidates by various methods (Internet, recruitment ads, references, referrals, etc.) to source qualified
candidates for departmental needs.
- Conduct phone screens, face-to-face interviews, and coordinate on-site interview days.
- Identifies and evaluates sourcing solutions to successfully meet recruiting needs of the business.
- Develop and maintain a broad network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates, to include continuous
networking as well as researching and joining industry specific job boards, professional organizations and associations to build
and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
- Create and foster relationships with colleges/universities to attract and recruit potential candidates.
- Represent BCBSNC at job fairs and/or college recruiting events.
- Ensure hiring initiatives are in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws and with the Office of Federal
Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation in applicant tracking system
Hiring Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field
- 3 years of recruiting experience in corporate or agency setting
- Ability to come into our Durham, NC headquarters up to 3 times per week
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid role
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
