LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in The Woodlands, TX to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a temp-to-hire basis. This role supports high-volume, full-cycle recruiting within the power generation industry and is ideal for a seasoned recruiter seeking stability, long-term potential, and eventual permanent conversion.
This position is 100% onsite and intended to convert to permanent for the right long-term fit.

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $36.00 $43.25/hour
Based on a 40-hour workweek (2080 hours annually)
Bonus (Upon Conversion): Annual incentive paid in April based on individual and company performance

Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level roles, supporting both blue-collar and white-collar hiring needs. This individual will work closely with hiring managers and HR leadership, delivering a relationship-focused recruiting experience with the goal of long-term team integration.
Key Responsibilities
Execute full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions (approximately 40 requisitions at a time)
Create and manage requisitions; define job requirements, screening questions, and interview strategies
Source, screen, and interview candidates across technical and corporate roles
Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and manage pre-employment screenings (drug testing and background checks)
Serve as the primary liaison between hiring managers and candidates
Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring stages within the ATS
Support recruiting metrics and departmental goals
Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and proactive sourcing initiatives
Collaborate with the TA Manager on hiring strategies and workforce planning
Build and maintain external talent pipelines
Required Qualifications
57+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (Senior / Level 3 preferred)
Required industry experience:
POWER GENERATION
Recruiting experience across blue-collar and white-collar roles, including engineering and field service positions
Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruiting in fast-paced environments
Strong stakeholder partnership and relationship-building skills
ATS/HRIS experience required
Paycom experience highly preferred
Experience with Paycor, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, or similar systems acceptable
Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
