The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruiting for the organization and serve as a trusted HR generalist resource. This role partners closely with leadership to build sourcing strategies, coach hiring teams, and support compensation, performance management, and culture-building initiatives. It's a high-visibility opportunity for a self-directed HR professional who enjoys variety, works comfortably with executive leadership, and wants to make a tangible impact on a growing organization's people strategy.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing campaigns using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and other channels to attract active and passive talent
  • Guide candidates through every stage of the hiring process, including screening, interviewing, and coordination, while maintaining accurate workflows in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Travel to branch locations to conduct interviews, support hiring events, and represent the organization at career fairs and community recruiting activities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, facilitating intake meetings, sharing labor market insights, and coaching interview teams on structured, legally sound selection practices
  • Support compensation planning, conducting market research and benchmarking, preparing pay recommendations for new hires and internal moves, and participating in annual merit, bonus, and pay equity cycles
  • Monitor performance and engagement trends, using HR systems to surface insights and partnering with leadership on recognition, culture-building, and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to shape onboarding, training, and early-career development based on candidate and new-hire insights
  • Support employer branding and talent programs, including referral and early-talent initiatives, internships, and workforce planning
  • Develop SOPs, dashboards, and process improvements that bring consistency and efficiency to recruiting, onboarding, and broader HR operations, leveraging AI and automation tools where possible

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Recruiting experience: 3-4 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including strategic sourcing
  • Systems proficiency: Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
  • HR generalist exposure: Experience with performance management and employee engagement tools, alongside working knowledge of federal and state employment law
  • Analytical skills: Ability to translate recruiting, performance, and engagement data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Communication and relationship-building: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust across hiring managers, candidates, and leadership
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly, including AI and automation tools, and apply it to HR workflows
  • Travel flexibility: Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel to branch locations as needed

Preferred:

  • Compensation exposure: Experience with compensation planning, market benchmarking, or HR analytics
  • Compensation plan communication: Comfortable explaining compensation plans and structures to employees and managers

Work Location: This position is onsite, based at our client's office in Mayfield, Ohio. The schedule begins at five days per week onsite, transitioning to four days per week once approved by HR leadership.

  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel to branch locations across Northeast Ohio for interviews, hiring events, and career fairs.
  • Placement Type: Direct Hire
  • Estimated Schedule: Full-time; flexible start between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM. No weekends or late nights expected.
