In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership to attract, engage, and hire candidates who are aligned with Harbor Care's values of compassion, respect, and service. You'll play a critical role in shaping the candidate experience, strengthening our employer brand, and ensuring we bring in talent that supports our mission to serve individuals and families in need.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and recruitment strategies
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for high-priority roles
- Leverage job boards, social media, community partnerships, and outreach strategies
- Utilize modern recruiting tools, including AI-enabled sourcing and screening technologies
- Conduct structured, competency-based interviews to support fair and effective hiring decisions
- Ensure a positive, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience
- Maintain accurate recruitment data within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Represent Harbor Care at job fairs, community events, and workforce initiatives
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and full-cycle recruitment processes
- Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in healthcare, nonprofit, or behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with social media and digital sourcing strategies
- Experience with AI-enabled recruiting tools and modern sourcing technologies
- Knowledge of structured or behavioral interviewing techniques
- Experience using UKG Workforce Ready or similar ATS platforms
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar)

- Ability to travel occasionally to recruiting events or Harbor Care locations
