Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in supporting the growth and success of HORSCH by identifying, attracting, and hiring high-quality candidates. This position partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruitment strategies, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, relationship-driven, and passionate about connecting talented individuals with meaningful career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus - Approximately 80%)
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition through onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Create and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms and social media channels.
Source, engage, and build relationships with active and passive candidates.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate hiring team interviews.
Facilitate candidate communications throughout the hiring process to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Conduct reference checks and assist with offer preparation and presentation.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Represent HORSCH at career fairs, industry events, college recruiting activities, and community outreach programs.
Promote and strengthen HORSCHs employer brand within the region and industry.
Track recruiting metrics and provide hiring updates to managers and HR leadership.
Human Resources Support (Secondary Focus - Approximately 20%)
Assist with onboarding activities and new employee orientation.
Provide administrative support for HR projects and departmental initiatives as needed.
Assist the Human Resources team with general HR functions during peak periods or special projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
