Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics company,operatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview
The Recruiter plays a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent to support DePuy Synthes’ business growth across the region. This role manages end‑to‑end recruitment activities, partners closely with hiring managers, and delivers a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience. The position offers exposure to diverse roles and stakeholders within a global MedTech organization and the opportunity to directlyimpactworkforce capability and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Managefull‑cycle recruitingactivities, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and timelines.
Source and engage candidates using multiple channels such as job boards, referrals, internal databases, and social platforms.
Conduct candidate screening and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Ensure a positive, inclusive, and professionalcandidate experiencethroughout the hiring process.
Maintainaccuraterecruiting data and documentation in applicant tracking systems.
Track and report on recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement and transparency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and data‑privacy requirements.
Where required to be managed locally:
Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures.
Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.
Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degreeinHuman Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, ora relatedfield.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Typically2–4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
Experience managingend‑to‑end recruitment processesacross multiple roles.
Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate‑engagement skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and HR partners.
Proficiencywith applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred:
Experience recruiting in aregulated industrysuch as MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare.
Experience supporting regional or multinational recruitment activities.
Exposure to diversity, equity, andinclusionrecruiting practices.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Familiarity with sourcing strategies, employer branding, and talent market mapping.
Other:
Language:Fluent English; Spanishproficiencyfor local market interaction.
Travel:Minimal travelexpected.
Certifications: HR or recruiting certifications preferred but not.
