Since 2019, Landing has built the largest flexible living network in the country - 35+ markets, thousands of apartments, no deposits, no hassle. We're growing fast and operating in the real world, which means things move quickly, priorities shift, and no two days look the same.
About the Role
Landing is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own hiring outcomes for Field Operations. This role is not just about filling roles. It is about building a reliable pipeline of operators who can perform in the field and protect the business from bad hires.
Field ops hiring is what keeps our member experience running. Our team manages thousands of check-ins and hundreds of installations per month across a growing national portfolio. When roles sit open or the wrong hire is made, our teams absorb the impact and performance drops. Your job is to make sure that does not happen.
You will be responsible for building pipelines, screening for real operational capability, and consistently delivering candidates who can operate independently, handle chaos, and stay accountable without oversight.
What You'll Do
Own sourcing strategy and pipeline health across all Field Operations roles including General Managers, Hub Managers, Task Force Managers, and Install Managers
Build and maintain evergreen pipelines so open roles never start from zero
Deliver qualified, ready candidates ahead of demand, not in reaction to it
Screen for real-world performance, not interview performance. You should be able to tell who will actually do the job
Identify candidates who can operate independently, manage ambiguity, and handle after-hours and weekend demands
Partner with Field Ops leaders to understand what “good” looks like in each market and role
Track and report on key metrics including pipeline strength, time to fill, offer acceptance, and early attrition
Identify trends in hiring quality and proactively adjust sourcing strategy
Flag attrition risk trends by role type and proactively build bench inventory before seats go vacant
Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring conditions across target markets
What We're Looking For
2+ years of recruiting experience with a strong focus on sourcing and pipeline building
Experience hiring for in-market or field-based roles such as hospitality, property management, project management, logistics, or similar
Proven ability to manage high-volume recruiting with consistent time to fill performance
Strong judgment. You can distinguish between candidates who interview well and those who will perform in the field
Comfortable operating independently with clear ownership of results
Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and geography-based sourcing
Experience using an ATS and maintaining clean, actionable candidate data
Strong communication and follow-through. Candidates hear back from you and hiring managers trust your pipeline
Data-driven. You track performance, identify gaps, and adjust quickly
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting for short-term rental operations and distributed field teams
Experience building structured interview processes or scoring frameworks
Comfortable using AI in recruiting workflows across sourcing, screening, outreach, and reporting. Bonus if you’ve built or customized workflows
