Job Brief
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our growing team in East Peoria, IL. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract and hire top talent across our manufacturing and corporate operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong recruiting experience, knowledge of employment laws, and a modern approach to sourcing candidates—particularly through social media and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for a variety of roles.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop compelling, accurate job descriptions.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment metrics, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Proactively source candidates using social media platforms, job boards, networking, and other innovative recruiting methods.
- Identify and assess high-quality talent through effective screening techniques and behavioral interviewing.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide consultative support to hiring managers.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s presence in the talent market.
- Support additional HR and recruiting-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, FLSA, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Proven ability to identify and attract high-quality candidates across multiple disciplines.
- Proficiency in leveraging social media and digital recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support HR and business objectives.
- Experience recruiting within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
