Summary:
As a DRAM Firmware (FW)/Integration engineer, your primary responsibilities will include developing, validating, and integrating DRAM drivers for SSD FW platforms. You will work on DRAM IP on the controller side, developing and validating read, write, gate trainings, and write leveling. Additionally, you will gain or possess expertise in DRAM PHY IP, DRAM ECC, and DDR4/DDR5 protocols.
 
Responsibilities
  • Configure DDR4/DDR5 mode registers and validate those register settings.
  • Develop and validate DDR4/DDR5 initialization.
  • Develop and validate DDR power states and refresh policy.
  • Develop test procedures and tools for DRAM validation and debugging.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams.
  • Document requirements and track schedules related to each product.
  • Guide debug efforts to resolve DRAM issues.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in DRAM architecture, operation, and integration.
  • Proficiency with memory testing tools and software.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, high-speed signal fundamentals, and simulation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering equipment.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts.
  • Strong planning and documentation skills.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $45.00 - $47.94 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
