PGS Worldwide is seeking Systems Integration and Test Engineers in Orlando, FL for one-year contract-to-hire roles supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Systems Integration and Test Engineer will support integration, testing, documentation, and validation of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems. This role supports Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms and requires software development experience, production experience, test equipment design, electronic testing, mechanical testing, and automated test equipment support in a production environment. Candidates may be considered for mid-level or senior-level openings depending on experience.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of software development experience using C, C++, and/or LabVIEW.
  • Senior-level candidates should have 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 4–6 years of production experience.
  • 6+ years of test equipment design experience.
  • 6+ years of electronic testing experience.
  • 6+ years of mechanical testing experience.
  • Experience planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining integration and test solutions.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Ability to translate customer and contractual requirements into test solutions.
  • Ability to define functional and technical specifications, standards, and input/output parameters.
  • Ability to solve hardware/software interface problems.
  • Ability to analyze test results and prepare system or subsystem evaluation reports.
  • Ability to write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing.
  • Ability to coordinate testing activities with programs and engineering teams.
  • Ability to wear safety shoes as required.

Preferred Skills

  • LabVIEW, LabWindows CVI, or NI development and maintenance experience.
  • C or C++ software development experience with Automated Test Equipment hardware integration.
  • Experience with ATE hardware such as switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, and automation.
  • Automated test equipment development or maintenance experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • Electro-Optic sensor or military platform experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Support integration and testing of components, elements, subsystems, and systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Define test specifications, standards, and integration requirements.
  • Resolve hardware/software interface issues.
  • Review and derive requirements for testability.
  • Coordinate system and subsystem testing with internal teams.
  • Analyze test results and prepare verification and validation reports.
  • Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to confirm fixes.
  • Support automated test equipment development and maintenance for production programs.

Work Schedule / Shift

  • 1st shift.
  • Safety shoes required.

Pay

  • $65.87–$87.50/hour, depending on experience and level
