Primary Purpose Assists with generating reports labels and files from the student system and provides assistance and support to all campuses and central office staff for the entry reporting and maintenance of all student information.
Education Certification
High School Diploma
GED is required.
Associates degree in information technology or equivalent is preferred.
Special Knowledge Skills
Ability to concentrate and communicate effectively verbally and written.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Microsoft Office Access Excel and Word experience with Skyward preferred.

Major Responsibilities and Duties
Represents Systems Information in a professional and helpful manner.
Provides computer processing support or assistance for all campuses, central office departments, parents, and the general public.
Assists with producing reports labels and files for student grades, attendance, disciplines, special population, and other student services as necessary.
Assists with researching and resolving programming problems, issues, and helps determine appropriate solutions.
Communicates with campuses and staff to answer questions and explain processes or procedures.
Assists the Director of Student Information Services by verifying data and managing data input throughout the year from the campuses and staff to minimize errors during the PEIMS reporting cycles.
Researches, verifies, and gathers documentation from campuses to resolve differences at the Texas Education Agency (TEA) level relating to student demographic information.
Assists with developing training materials for the student data systems.
Attends workshops, conferences, and seminars approved by supervisor to remain current in job responsibilities and student processes and procedures.
Assists with the scheduling of all student reports and processing.
Responsible for properly maintaining district records, adhering to all policies set forth by the district for records maintenance, and learning the records retention schedule for department records.
