Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineering Support Analyst II to support aircraft sustainment and modification activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in aircraft logistics, Air Force supply processes, parts tracking, inventory control, purchase request processing, technical documentation review, or warehouse operations. This position is a hybrid between an analyst role and a hands-on warehouse/materials support role.
In this role, you will coordinate closely with onsite technicians, engineering teams, supplier management, USAF personnel, and government customers to ensure parts and materials are available to support aircraft maintenance and modification schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Analyst Responsibilities
Process Purchase Requests (PRs) and submit requests to Supplier Management.
Coordinate with Supplier Management on Purchase Order (PO) placement, status updates, and estimated ship dates.
Serve as a liaison between Supplier Management, Engineering, onsite technicians, and government customer representatives.
Verify part requirements by reviewing:
Air Force Technical Orders
Parts lists
Engineering drawings
Aircraft modification drawings
Technical documentation
Research obsolete parts, materials, tools, and replacement options needed to sustain aging aircraft.
Review aircraft modification drawings and Technical Orders to recommend spare part disposition, stock levels, reorder points, or disposal actions.
Coordinate scrap and part disposal activities with the government customer.
Submit recurring purchase requests for equipment calibration support.
Support tracking of parts and materials using Air Force or program-specific systems, including the GOLD system where applicable.
Maintain accurate status updates, records, and documentation for open material actions.
Warehouse / Parts Support Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Aircraft logistics
Supply chain support
Inventory control
Warehouse operations
Material coordination
Parts management
Aircraft maintenance support
Procurement or purchase request coordination
Ability to review and interpret technical documentation such as parts lists, drawings, Technical Orders, or maintenance documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple open actions, part requests, and material statuses.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with technicians, engineers, supplier management, government customers, and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Willingness to support both office-based analyst duties and hands-on warehouse/material duties.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Air Force supply processes.
Active U.S. Security Clearance.
Experience supporting aircraft maintenance, modification, sustainment, depot maintenance, or MRO operations.
Familiarity with:
Air Force Technical Orders
DIFM parts
Serviceable and unserviceable part processing
Aircraft parts disposition
Stock level and reorder point management
Scrap and disposal coordination
Experience with the GOLD system or similar Air Force, military, logistics, ERP, or inventory management systems.
Experience working with Boeing, USAF, government customer teams, or defense aerospace programs.
Experience supporting aging aircraft platforms or obsolete parts research.
Experience coordinating purchase requests, purchase orders, supplier status, or calibration equipment requests.
Prior experience working in or around Tinker AFB.
Education / Experience
Applicable and appropriate educational or certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience are required.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
