    Description

    Job Title: Systems Engineer

    Location: Phoenix, AZ -85027

    Duration: 6 Months

    • Hybrid Role* ( 2 days WFH, 3 days onsite)
    • Update - **Manager really needs an experienced person with DO160, QUAL. EMI competency. **
    • Candidate must be a US Person due to the criticality of the project as per client need. 
    • ***Top 3-5 Must Have Skills (Model based systems engineering, avionics, embedded systems, avionics)***

    Introduction

    This role involves the development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform. The position requires a blend of engineering expertise and hands-on experience with avionics systems.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with DO160, QUAL. EMI competency
    • Model based systems engineering
    • Experience in avionics and embedded systems
    • US Person status required
    • Prior work experience in the avionics industry

    Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification
    • Model based system design using Simulink
    • Arinc 661 graphics development using Scade
    • Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position and navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS)
    • Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC)

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Develop and integrate systems for the Next Generation Avionics Platform
    • Conduct systems verification and validation processes
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance
