Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ -85027
Duration: 6 Months
- Hybrid Role* ( 2 days WFH, 3 days onsite)

- Candidate must be a US Person due to the criticality of the project as per client need.

Introduction
This role involves the development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform. The position requires a blend of engineering expertise and hands-on experience with avionics systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with DO160, QUAL. EMI competency
- Model based systems engineering
- Experience in avionics and embedded systems
- US Person status required
- Prior work experience in the avionics industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification
- Model based system design using Simulink
- Arinc 661 graphics development using Scade
- Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position and navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS)
- Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate systems for the Next Generation Avionics Platform
- Conduct systems verification and validation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance
