PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Systems Engineer in Manchester, NH for a one-year contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Secret-Cleared Systems Engineer will support engineering research and product development activities across technical disciplines such as electronics, electrical, mechanical, or related engineering areas. This role requires an active Secret clearance at start and a bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Required Skills
- Active Secret clearance required to start.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 0 8 years of related engineering experience.
- Ability to define engineering problems, conduct research, and analyze technical criteria.
- Ability to support systems engineering, product development, and technical analysis activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with engineering teams in a structured technical environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating or reviewing operational concepts.
- Experience creating systems, software, component, or subsystem requirements.
- Experience defining internal and external interfaces.
- Experience supporting preliminary designs.
- Experience creating or reviewing algorithms.
- Experience developing requirements traceability matrices.
- Experience participating in trade studies.
- Experience participating in peer reviews.
What You'll Do
- Support engineering research and product development activities.
- Define technical problems and analyze engineering criteria.
- Assist with systems, software, component, or subsystem requirements.
- Support interface definition, preliminary design activity, and algorithm review.
- Participate in trade studies and peer reviews.
- Support technical documentation and engineering analysis.
Work Schedule / Shift
- 1st shift, Monday Friday.
- 9/80 schedule.
- Tentative hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Overtime expected as needed.
