We are seeking a highly experienced systems engineer to drive technical excellence in enterprise infrastructure deployment and operations across Leos rapidly expanding global footprint. This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing critical infrastructure systems, establishing technical standards, and ensuring operational readiness across multiple facilities and technical environments.

A successful candidate is a technical leader who combines deep systems engineering expertise with strong architectural vision, has experience scaling infrastructure in regulated environments, and possesses comprehensive knowledge across network systems, security controls, and enterprise infrastructure domains. You will serve as a technical authority for infrastructure initiatives while mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes.

This role requires 50% travel.

Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Serve as technical authority for infrastructure design and implementation across Leos facilities
  • Lead architecture and design of enterprise infrastructure systems including network, compute, and security
  • Develop technical standards and specifications for infrastructure deployments
  • Guide integration of infrastructure monitoring and management platforms
  • Provide technical oversight for critical infrastructure programs
  • Drive technical due diligence and risk assessment for new infrastructure initiatives

Systems Engineering & Implementation

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions across multiple technical domains
  • Lead complex system integration efforts across network, compute, and security infrastructure
  • Develop and validate infrastructure deployment architectures
  • Create technical requirements and design documentation
  • Implement infrastructure lifecycle management processes
  • Drive security and compliance validation for infrastructure systems
  • Establish monitoring and alerting frameworks for critical infrastructure

Technical Operations & Excellence

  • Define standard operating procedures and technical playbooks
  • Lead troubleshooting of complex technical issues
  • Guide capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives
  • Develop automated testing and validation frameworks
  • Establish technical metrics and KPIs for infrastructure systems
  • Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure reliability and performance

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor other engineers and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Review and approve technical designs and implementation plans
  • Lead technical post-mortems and drive systematic improvements
  • Collaborate with TPMs and stakeholders on technical strategy
  • Represent technical perspective in program planning and execution

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will serve as a technical leader driving the design and implementation of mission-critical infrastructure across Leos global operations. Your work will directly enable Leos manufacturing, testing, and operational capabilities through robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.

A typical day may include:

  • Leading technical design reviews for new infrastructure deployments
  • Working with network engineers to validate various configurations
  • Collaborating with security teams on implementing standardized physical and logical security controls
  • Reviewing monitoring dashboards and analyzing infrastructure performance metrics
  • Troubleshooting complex system integration issues across multiple technical domains
  • Mentoring team members on infrastructure design and implementation best practices
  • Developing technical specifications for new infrastructure initiatives
  • Conducting operational readiness reviews for critical systems
  • Collaborating with TPMs and stakeholders to align technical solutions with program objectives
  • Contributing to infrastructure automation and optimization strategies

Our team combines deep technical expertise with strong program management capabilities to deliver critical infrastructure on time and at scale.
