Hybrid work schedule with a combination of remote and onsite work. Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility as business needs require.
We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support the development and integration of complex end-to-end medical device systems. This role involves applying systems engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle, with a focus on verification and validation of wearable devices, mobile applications, software algorithms, cloud applications, user portals, gateways, and data pipelines.
Evaluate system integration points and lead integration planning and testing across wearable devices, mobile applications, software algorithms, cloud applications, and user portals.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify and validate system performance, safety, and security across the end-to-end ecosystem.
Prepare test protocols and validation reports.
Develop system models, perform risk analyses, and implement mitigation strategies.
Analyze system performance, reliability, and data integrity across the complete data pipeline.
Serve as a subject matter expert on systems engineering standards and best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and delivery.
5–8+ years of systems engineering experience with a significant focus on connected medical devices or other complex end-to-end hardware and software systems.
Demonstrated experience leading the development of end-to-end systems.
Expertise in systems modeling, requirements management, risk analysis, verification, and validation.
Experience developing system design verification and validation plans and functional test procedures.
Strong understanding of medical device regulations, quality systems, and data privacy regulations.
Experience working across multidisciplinary teams to drive complex projects to completion.
