Job Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our dynamic team in Sunnyvale, CA, to drive technical innovations and efficiency in infrastructure operations. The role involves designing server monitoring solutions, implementing automation, and enhancing operational workflows to boost customer impact. The successful candidate will tackle challenges head-on, implementing streamlined, scalable solutions across various operational facets, ensuring robust documentation and security practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement server monitoring and management solutions using automation.
Develop processes that enhance operational workflow and positively impact customers.
Troubleshoot issues deeply to find root causes and long-term solutions via automation.
Adopt and promote best practices in documentation, testing, security, and operational efficiency.
Develop metrics to demonstrate improvements in operational efficiency.
Must-Have Skills:
In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux/UNIX.
Proficiency in automation via Python scripting and Perl.
Strong system troubleshooting skills.
Industry Experience Required:
Experience with deploying and operating in a datacenter environment.
