Senior Systems Engineer Collaboration & Web Services

Remote EST

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, and hybrid cloud infrastructure to support and evolve a large-scale global enterprise environment. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on architecture, operations, automation, and support of enterprise collaboration and web services platforms across hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise collaboration and web services platforms in hybrid cloud environments
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 technologies including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and related Azure services
  • Support Azure Web Apps, IIS, Apache Tomcat, Power Platform, and enterprise web technologies
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, patching, system refreshes, and operational improvements
  • Drive infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives
  • Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams on architecture and operational support
  • Participate in troubleshooting, incident response, and on-call support rotation
  • Develop technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration technologies
  • Expertise with Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and virtualization technologies
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, PKI, and load balancing
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure and M365 certifications
  • Experience with enterprise backup, SAN storage, and disaster recovery technologies
  • ITIL certification preferred
