Description:

You will be the Systems Engineer Associate Manager for the Integration and Test team (ADI&T) which is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing testing on a software-intensive systems. The team is also responsible for integration of new capabilities into the lab environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading system‑test planning and execution for vehicle and mission system capabilities, while guiding a multidisciplinary Agile team from concept to delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead systems test planning and execution for software‑intensive vehicle and mission systems.
  • Manage and mentor a cross‑functional Agile team delivering end‑to‑end capabilities.
  • Collaborate with software developers and subject‑matter experts to diagnose, troubleshoot, and support program goals.
  • Champion continuous integration and testing innovations to improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Ensure thorough verification and validation of integrated system solutions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

This role requires up to 25% travel based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Above Degree in Engineering/Technical Discipline
  • Experience with integration and test processes
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, and/or leading small teams.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Systems Integration and Test
  • Proven Experience Developing and Executing Test Plans and Procedures
  • Working Knowledge of Aircraft Systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills needed to lead multidisciplinary teams through planning and testing.
  • Experience with Test Automation
  • Experience with Agile SW development
  • Experience with CAMEO or DOORs
  • Experience with tools such as GitLab, Python, Jira, Confluence

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
