LOCATION:  Full-time, onsite in Chantilly, VA

We’re looking for a Systems Architect with strong, hands‑on experience designing and building modern software systems. This role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of software development, deep Linux engineering experience, and a solid background creating cloud‑based solutions. You’ll work directly with AWS, contribute to DevOps automation, and help shape scalable architectures that support mission‑ready applications.

Key Responsibilities


In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Systems Architect, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • Working as a team’s software architect, lead software developer, lead DevOps engineer, or similar technical leadership role.
  • 10+ years’ experience with software development.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Linux software development.
  • 5+ years’ experience designing software for cloud-based systems.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • 2+ years’ experience developing DevOps solutions.  

Highly Desired Qualifications


Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Experience leading software development teams to success through regular Agile sprint deliveries.  
  • Expert level experience with Node.js.  
  • Expert level experience with Angular (including Angular Signals).  
  • Delivering AI-assistive features to users.  
  • Making substantial UI/UX recommendations or decisions.  
  • Using Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and/or Redis.  
  • Maintaining currency in emerging technologies.
