We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a well-established, tech-forward organization in Oklahoma City. This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary, long-term stability, and a hands-on role supporting mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and support the on-prem data center environment in Oklahoma.
• Lead architecture, deployment, and management of servers, firewalls, SANs, and VMware infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security personnel to ensure secure network and systems design.
• Maintain, document, and organize IT assets and infrastructure setups with a high degree of detail.
• Configure and manage firewalls (preferably SonicWall) and network systems.
• Provide ongoing support for PureStorage and Dell storage solutions.
• Work with VMware 8, with a future focus on containerization and modern virtualization approaches.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience for senior-level candidates; 5–6 years for mid-level.
• Deep expertise in VMware (version 8) and SAN storage technologies.
• Proven experience with firewalls, including setup, configuration, and security considerations (SonicWall preferred).
• Familiarity with PureStorage and Dell storage environments.
• Hands-on experience managing on-premise data centers.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills—critical for managing complex infrastructure and inventory.
