The Enrollment Management Systems & Automation Analyst leads the design, implementation, and optimization of automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled solutions across Enrollment Management systems, including Banner, Slate, TouchNet, and related platforms.
This role focuses on enhancing the user experience, improving operational efficiency, and enabling data-informed decision-making through cross-functional collaboration with Admissions, Operations, Student Financial Services, and Enrollment Analytics & Reporting.
The Analyst serves as a bridge between functional teams and technical systems, identifying opportunities for innovation, streamlining processes, and supporting scalable, future-focused enrollment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & AI Implementation
Identify and evaluate opportunities to automate manual and repetitive processes across Enrollment Management
Design and implement workflows in systems like Slate and Banner
Evaluate and optimize current AI tools (transcript reader, Slate AI)
Research, evaluate, and implement AI and emerging technologies to enhance enrollment and student financial processes
Reduce redundancy and improve processing speed
Cross-Functional Systems Strategy
Partner with Enrollment Operations, Student Financial Services, and Enrollment Analytics & Reporting to understand business needs
Translate operational challenges into scalable system-based solutions using existing technology
Collaborate with functional teams to test and validate solutions
Support alignment of system usage across departments
Ensures all systems, processes, and data practices comply with applicable federal regulations
User Experience
Improve staff and student interaction with systems
Optimize communication flows (especially in Slate CRM)
Reduce friction in processes like application, aid, and billing
Systems Integration & Process Design
Ensure Banner, Slate, TouchNet, etc., work together effectively
Map and redesign business processes across departments
Support data flow integrity between systems
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay current on EM technology trends
Pilot new tools and enhancements
Recommend scalable solutions
