Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to support to a wide range of programmatic support relevant to the Missile Defense Agency mission. The desired expertise will cross all of the phases of programmatic and engineering support.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support to the customer in architecture and new technology studies and analysis as a THAAD component within the Ballistic Missile Defense System.

  • Write statement of work documentation for government requests for proposal of the future concept development.

  • Review and assist in Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), Funding Memo, and any other supporting documentation for the Government's request for proposal (RFP) of future scope.

  • Coordinate and assist in the pricing of the technical evaluation with the pricing team.

  • Support the negotiation process with the Government contracting team and the prime contractor.

  • Support planning for the development of new concepts to including development of schedules for the development

  • Coordinate budget 1-N requirements for both funded and unfunded concepts.

  • Coordinate the THAAD Engineering Director future programmatic planning through the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.

  • Participate in THAAD systems Engineering Directorate meetings to support efforts across THAAD Project Office.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience relevant to MDA programmatic planning.

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Able to track actual and forecast financial data in comparison to MDA Goals.

  • Able to plan and support projected funds exhaust dates based on internal data and customer data.

  • Adept at performing technical evaluations of prime contractor proposals, and write respective technical evaluation reports.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience with MDA budgetary, acquisition, and programmatic processes.

  • Working knowledge of the THAAD weapon system.

  • Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes.

  • Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.

  • Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment, and work across organizational boundaries.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
