PositionSummary Responsible for the monitoring, coordination, testing, and ongoing support for the Ambulatory EHR remote hosted environment in conjunction with all vendors. Primary Position Responsibilities Coordinate with the hosting vendor all installation of server hardware and software requests. Coordinate with the hosting vendor all upgrades and patching of operating system software on terminal servers and application servers. Ensures all server backups complete as expected. Create and manage any applicable documentation, both in educational format and/or ticket tracking. Prepares and presents technical offerings, summarizing findings, alternatives and recommendations. Provide backup and overflow to Help Desk support. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Associates Degree Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 3 Preferred: 3-5 or more License, Registry or Certification: Required: Preferred: A+, Network+, MCP, MCSE Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Strong computer troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with others as needed Preferred: Familiarity with OSI model (Open Systems Interconnection), specifically how it relates to client / server troubleshooting.
