Job Title: System Analyst
Pay rate: $60- $65/hr
Job Summary

A Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements, evaluating existing systems, and designing technology solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that technology solutions meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate current systems and recommend enhancements or new solutions.
  • Create functional specifications, process flows, and system documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in system design, configuration, integration, and implementation activities.
  • Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect tracking.
  • Provide support during system deployments and post-implementation activities.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare training materials and assist end users with new system adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related IT role.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of databases, system integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
