As part of our continued support of critical U.S. Army missions, we are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support enterprise IT operations within a secure Department of Defense environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.

Active Clearance Requirement

An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.

Position Overview

The Systems Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, and securing enterprise infrastructure across Microsoft and virtualized environments. This individual will support daily operations, ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements, and work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and network teams to maintain a stable and secure computing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server and enterprise Microsoft environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, user accounts, Group Policy, and access controls.
  • Support VMware virtualization platforms and enterprise server infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and overall security posture.
  • Apply operating system patches, updates, and configuration changes in accordance with DoD security guidance and STIG requirements.
  • Support RMF activities, security audits, documentation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure issues while providing timely resolution.
  • Administer enterprise technologies including Citrix, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and related platforms.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, and engineering teams to maintain secure enterprise operations.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems administration within Army or Department of Defense environments.
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security+, CySA+, CASP+, GSEC, GCIH, SSCP, or equivalent).
  • Current Computing Environment (CE) certification applicable to the position (RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA, MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, VMware VCP/VCAP/VCDX, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience administering Windows Server and Microsoft enterprise technologies.
  • Strong background supporting enterprise infrastructure in secure DoD environments.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Willingness to support onsite operations in Utah as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Active Directory, VMware, Citrix, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience implementing RMF and STIG compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting Army enterprise IT operations or military installations.
  • ATEC, test range, or mission-support environment experience.
  • Experience with enterprise virtualization, systems hardening, and infrastructure automation.
