JOB PURPOSE
The Systems Administrator is responsible for implementation, operation, and maintenance of the St David's Foundation IT infrastructure and systems. This position provides tier II service desk support for Foundation users across all work locations, including the Foundation's San Antonio Street office, Dental Hub, mobile dental clinics, and remote work locations. The Systems Administrator will maintain HIPAA compliance for the organization by ensuring systems are updated, maintained, and operatingin accordance with all applicable organizational policies, standards, and procedures.
The Systems Administrator installs, diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and upgrades Foundation workstation and server hardware, software, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
This position must be able to interact effectively with staff members across the organization, and provide technology, security, and compliance training, as appropriate, for staff with various levels of technological experience.
