Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Systems Administrator 2. The work will be done onsite full-time in Decatur, IL. This is a 12-month long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $43.65/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
Cullerton Group is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide on-site IT support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on supporting end users, maintaining system reliability, and ensuring minimal disruption to factory operations. The Systems Administrator will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while acting as a liaison between the facility, vendors, and enterprise IT teams. This position also offers opportunities to contribute to automation and digital improvement initiatives, including data visualization and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and end-user systems
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a manufacturing environment
Manage and prioritize ticket queues to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
Act as a liaison between onsite teams, vendors, and enterprise IT for escalations and support coordination
Support automation and digital initiatives, including low-code/no-code tools, data transformation, and process improvements
Required Qualifications
Associates degree preferred (or equivalent experience in IT or related field)
3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Office, SharePoint, Power BI)
Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
Basic understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing or factory environment
Exposure to automation tools, low-code/no-code platforms, or data visualization
Familiarity with continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives
