SYSTEMTEC is seeking a System Testing Analyst II for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will participate in the full software testing lifecycle for complex, multi-platform enterprise systems, ensuring application quality through the design, execution, and coordination of structured testing activities. This role supports system, integration, regression, and functional testing efforts while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to validate requirements, identify defects, and improve overall quality assurance practices.

Required Qualifications of the Systems Testing Analyst II:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or 4+ years of relevant experience; or Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with demonstrated experience creating test plans and/or test matrices
  • Strong understanding of application/system architecture, data processing concepts, and operational workflows to support defect analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting system migrations and related testing activities
  • Ability to design test cases using requirements, specifications, diagrams, and logical system flows
  • Experience creating, managing, and manipulating test data for validation purposes
  • Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting QA metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills in fast-paced environments with potential 24x7 support needs

Preferred Skills/Experience of the System Testing Analyst II:

  • Experience with Java-based systems, WebSphere, Windows, and middleware technologies
  • Experience with databases such as DB2, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM
  • Familiarity with white-box, integration, regression, static, and accessibility (508) testing, including tools such as JAWS
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments
  • Experience using test management tools such as Azure DevOps, HP Quality Center (ALM/QC), or similar platforms
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium
  • Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and enterprise portals

Responsibilities of the Systems Testing Analyst II:

  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test matrices aligned with project requirements and system design
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing across multiple platforms and environments
  • Coordinate testing activities between technical teams, business stakeholders, and project partners to ensure alignment and efficiency
  • Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Create and maintain test data sets and validate results to ensure accuracy of system behavior
  • Monitor, report, and analyze QA metrics, test progress, and overall testing outcomes

Work Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Hybrid onsite schedule: Tuesday–Thursday onsite, additional onsite as required; no fully remote option)
