System Integration and Test Engineer

Our client, a leader in innovative vehicle systems, is seeking a System Test Engineer to join their team. As a System Test Engineer, you will be part of the Systems Integration and Test team supporting vehicle performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: System Integration and Test Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $80-$85/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Conduct integration testing at HIL Test Bench and vehicle levels to characterize system performance under nominal and off-nominal conditions.
• Perform data analysis to identify integration risks and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate impacts on project milestones.
• Identify potential improvements in system behavior, controls, and diagnostics monitors.
• Create and maintain documentation to track progress using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Drive issue resolution for complex system integration problems encountered during vehicle testing and fleet service operations.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in vehicle system development and testing roles.
• Experience with vehicle electrical architecture and automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with Instrumentation and Data Acquisition Tools like Vector CanAlyzer, ETAS INCA, Intrepid, CSM, etc.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills using tools like DMM, Oscilloscope, electrical schematics, and Saleae Logic Analyzer.
