System Engineer

Overview Our client, a global e-commerce platform known for its supermarket chains, is hiring a Systems Engineer to join their team in the Salisbury/Mooresville, NC area. This is a hybrid position.Responsibilities Technical SME for multiple assigned systems, services and applications within an identified functional area.Lead small to mid-size project solution delivery activities, including: Translating business needs identified by either the business and/or production owners into agile stories or waterfall requirements.Partnering with Solution Engineers to build out technical specifications that deliver on identified business requirements and outcomes.Working with the business and Quality Assurance to build out test cases/matrices ensuring proper testing prior to production deployment.Executing assigned tasks during System Unit review and turnover to QA.Partner with Engineers, Product Teams, and business groups to deliver standard to complex configuration changes and routine operational changes for services/applications within established standards.Partner to determine integration needs, design improvements, and design patterns with Engineers, Developers, Suppliers, and Product teams.Takes on small to medium projects from start to finish and works independently with minimal direction required.Works on problems of moderate to complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.Qualifications POS knowledge - NCR POS EX (2.0) or NCR POS Emerald 1.0Strong analytical skillsStrong Excel skillsKnowledge of SQLManage deploymentsExperience with wireless Android applicationsExperience working on projects with little supervision — must be a self-starterSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function Engineering and Strategy/PlanningIndustries Retail, Wholesale Food and Beverage, and Food and Beverage RetailBenefits Medical insuranceVision insurance401(k)#J-18808-Ljbffr
