Job Description:
The System Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments, enterprise applications, and IIS / Windows web servers. The role ensures system availability, performance, security, and compliance, supporting business-critical infrastructure and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Server Administration

Administer and support Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) environments.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

System Maintenance & Security

Perform OS patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
Implement system hardening and security best practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Application & Web Server Support

Support and maintain Windows-based enterprise applications.
Deploy, configure, and upgrade application environments.

Virtualization & Infrastructure Management

Manage Client vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, clusters, resource pools, and datastores via vCenter.

Resilience & Compliance

Manage backups, snapshots, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
Support HA configurations and audit readiness.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor system performance, availability, and DR readiness.
Troubleshoot OS, application, and web server issues.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Windows Server administration (2012 2022).
Working knowledge of Linux server environments.
Hands-on experience with IIS / Windows Web Servers.
Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise applications.
Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, firewalls).
