Job Summary: Responsible for the development and implementation of Froedtert Health system education programs, services, processes, tools and templates, including but not limited to: onboarding, competency, regulatory education, life support, transition to practice/Nurse Residency, professional development (ex. WNA Contact Hour Providership, certification resources, etc.), and Academic Partnerships. In collaboration with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, facilitates, develops, implements and evaluates Froedtert Health education/programming to meet all staff, role-specific and/or specialty department needs across the enterprise using best available evidence. Acts in the role of collaborative partner and educational leader, facilitator, instructor, subject matter expert, change agent, mentor, consultant and advocate. Partners with Clinical Educator-RN to identify and develop specialty-area education to ensure alignment, efficiency, and consistent practice across the enterprise as appropriate. Teaches Froedtert Health system, site, and specialty-based classes/courses as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of three years of recent healthcare education experience OR applicable clinical practice experience as a Registered Nurse, required. Experience in an informal or formal leadership capacity (ex. Preceptor, Charge RN, Governance Council Chair, leader, etc.), required. Experience in applying adult learning principles and instructional/curriculum design, preferred. Experience in program or project management, preferred. Experience in precepting or training in clinical setting, preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, required. Masters degree in Nursing (preferably Education focus), Adult Education, Organizational Development or related education field, preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Proficient in Microsoft applications and computer skills, required. Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills, required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days. Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) certification OR Masters in Nursing Education, Adult Education, Organizational Development or other related education field is required within 3 years of hire.
