The IT/ICT/Building Security Systems Designer will deliver consulting and design services for IT infrastructure, structured cabling, and security systems—primarily supporting major renovations and some new construction in airports and transportation facilities. This role manages multiple projects while ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Develop building security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion, emergency systems)Produce construction drawings, specs, and cost analyses (AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam)Collaborate with MEP/architectural teams and guide client technology decisionsReview submittals, coordinate with project stakeholders, and conduct site walk-throughsEnsure projects meet timelines, budgets, and NV5 quality standardsStay current on emerging technologies and industry standardsQualifications:5+ years of telecom/IT/security design experience (new builds or renovations)Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems architectureProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam, and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to travel to job sites as neededPreferred:BICSI (RCDD or similar), ASIS, PE, or other certificationsExperience with network systems design, tech master planning, or business development#J-18808-Ljbffr
