    Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an experienced Flight Test Instrumentation System Design Engineer supporting the F-35 program. You will architect and develop instrumentation systems to be installed on test aircraft. The successful candidate will have significant experience and/or knowledge of aircraft systems, aircraft instrumentation systems, developing and installing systems on aircraft and be able to apply what they learn to future test aircraft development.

    Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in Systems engineering or a related engineering degree from an accredited school.

    Desired Skills:

    Experience with military type aircraft

    Experience with aircraft instrumentation systems

    Ability to interface with all levels of management

    Above average and effective communication and coordination skills

    Ability to work in a collaborative environment

    Hands-on system troubleshooting experience

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
