Description:

You will be the System Architect Sr for the Systems Architecture team which is responsible for state of the art fighter jet flight simulators.

What You Will Be Doing

As the System Architect Sr you will be responsible for becoming the subject matter expert in your support areas, developing overall system designs, and guiding engineers to align with those designs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Become the SME for assigned aircraft simulation platforms.
  • Develop comprehensive system designs for new products.
  • Ensure engineering teams deliver solutions that adhere to system design specifications.
  • Support and integrate various aircraft simulation design platforms.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline.

Fighter aircraft simulation experience.

Desired Skills:

Large scale complex software development experience.

Knowledge of Fifth Generation fighter aircraft

Familiarity in developing system design for MITL/HITL Simulations / Stimulations.

Sensor modeling experience.

Familiar with SysML, Cameo and/or Rhapsody.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
