Think Evolutionary is a strategic talent intelligence consultancy built on over 20 years of leadership in Infrastructure, Innovation, and Impact. We architect resilient teams for mission-critical industries, including Government Contracting, Engineering, and Utilities. By integrating behavioral science through the Predictive Index (PI) and deep technical foresight, we ensure every placement is precision-engineered for long-term growth and organizational evolution.
We are partnering with a mission-focused organization to identify a Systems Administrator (SF) — Level 2 supporting a Maryland customer delivering cross domain solutions. This role is designed for a senior systems administrator with strong Linux expertise who can ensure secure, reliable operations across enterprise IT environments—driving troubleshooting, performance, and escalated support in a classified setting.
The Systems Administrator (Level 2) will support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems—particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (or derivatives)—and will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, deep troubleshooting, and system performance improvements. The role includes managing system infrastructure, day-to-day operations, monitoring, escalation communications, and configuration of UNIX/Windows operating systems and related components to improve reliability and performance.
This role supports mission-critical IT environments where stability, responsiveness, and secure operations are essential. The Level 2 Systems Administrator is expected to operate with minimal oversight, resolve complex incidents, improve performance and reliability, and provide clear communication to technical teams and government stakeholders in a classified environment.
