The Sycamore Video Promotions Manager is responsible for ALL organizational (Sycamore Video) promotions through various media (Television, Internet - Digital and social media). They will serve as Ambassador and Point of Contact in various events on and off the campus of Indiana State University.

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce promotional content that positively represents and impacts Sycamore Video and Indiana State Student Media
  • Produce short and long form content to promote Sycamore Video on, but not limited to: Posts on Sycamore Video Website (isustudentmedia.com/sycamorevideo), social media (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, among other platforms
  • Attend all meetings, studio productions, and events
  • Ensure ALL promotional content is completed and posted in a timely manner. This is including, but not limited to: Posts on Sycamore Video Website (isustudentmedia.com/sycamorevideo), social media (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, among other platforms
  • Along with the Sycamore Video Production Manager, regularly check and give status updates on Sycamore Video equipment and advises the Facility Advisor, Sycamore Video General Manager, and Sycamore Video Executive Producer is repairs or replacements are needed
  • Serve as On-Air Talent (Anchor, Host, Reporter, etc.) when needed
  • Create
  • Produce AT LEAST one piece of content (news story, feature piece, social media post, etc.) for Sycamore Video weekly
  • Be willing to learn
  • Represent Sycamore Video in a positive manner
  • Additional responsibilities may be added as the specified position evolves
