Overview:

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking an SWPF/ESD Issue Analyst (Performance Assurance Analyst or Senior Performance Assurance Analyst) to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS).

The SWPF/ESD Issue Analyst (Performance Assurance Analyst or Senior Performance Assurance Analyst) administers the Corrective Action Program (CAP), Self-Assessment, and Management Field Observation (MFO) programs in the Saltwaste Processing Facility (SWPF) and the End Stream Delivery (ESD) facility. Responds to and resolves corrective action issues, conducts field observations, and supports facility self-assessment requirements as directed by management. Responsible for a range of operations activities such as performance metric development and reporting, researching and analyzing issues / data and presenting results, and responding to ad hoc requests.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of a Performance Assurance Analyst (Grade 66):
- Administers corrective action, self-assessment, and management field observations program(s).
- Acts as subject matter expert and resource for the administration of the site’s corrective action database and Commitment Tracking System (CTS). Ensures data/information is correctly entered and maintained and addressed for assigned area.
- Conducts comparative analysis on completed assessments to ensure performance objectives are satisfied, properly completed, and quality standards are met. Reviews, processes and closes out assessment reports. Ensures findings and opportunities for improvement from assessments are identified and entered into corrective action tracking system. Recommends process and/or program improvements.
- Coordinates the facility management field observation (MFO) program. Conducts comparative analysis on completed MFO reports. Reviews, processes, and closes submitted observations. Ensures findings and opportunities for improvement are identified and entered into corrective action tracking system. Coaches/mentors others on the use of the MFO system. Provides feedback to management.
- Contributes to the development of the annual self-assessment plan.
- Actively supports the Site Tracking Analysis and Reporting (STAR) database through technical assistance and assignment oversite. Leads efforts to ensure assigned task completion and maintain records in accordance with Manuals 22Q, CAP-113, S13, 5.514, and PP-AS-1209.
- Contributes to the development of facility performance metrics. Generates and/or coordinates the distribution of monthly or periodic key performance indicators or related management reports.
- Prepares reports, presentations, metrics, and/or other materials as required or requested by management which may be critical, time sensitive and/or of significant importance to the organization.
- Leads or facilitates root and/or apparent cause analyses, including those from consequential events to prevent reoccurrence. Ensures issues are defined, investigated, cause determined with corrective action developed, assigned and completed/resolved.
- Leads weekly management review team meetings to review and status issues, corrective actions and other similar program items. Makes recommendations and influences the direction of identified issues.
- Oversees various functional/operational programs of small to moderate complexity.

Additional responsibilities of a Senior Performance Assurance Analyst (Grade 67):
- Researches, develops, and implements program improvements.
- Guides and assists management in the development and performance of MFO’s.
- Key contributor to the development of the annual self-assessment plan.
- Contributes and/or develops facility performance metrics. Generates and/or coordinates the distribution of monthly or periodic key performance indicators or related management reports.
- Provides consultation pertaining to program and process methodology.
- Oversees various functional/operational programs of moderate to high complexity.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor's degree and experience in an analytical role comparable to the responsibilities of this position (e.g. corrective action, issue management, financial, risk, audit, LEAN, operational analysis, or applied science) as defined in the job description.
Additional Information:
- Must successfully pass necessary Contractor Assurance / Performance Assurance System training for Issues Management. Obtain root cause analysis certification as SRMC Training Program within 90 days or as soon as Training Department scheduling allows.

- Root Cause Analysis certification/training.
- Previous experience using Corrective Action Management Systems.
