Sundance Beverage Company ispart of the National Beverage family of iconic brands.2nd shift positionJob DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Truck Switcher is to operate a Hilo/forklift in order to properly load completed orders onto the trucks or within the warehouse. This position is also responsible for switching trailers and transporting product to remote warehouses. This position is physically demanding and requires work in both extreme hot and cold environments.Responsibilities* Move Trailers to and from a remote warehouse.* Ensure trailer and container tag seals and intact.* Inspect loads for cleanliness and quality.* Accurately record receipts and shipments on documents and in computer system.* Load and unload trucks (raw materials, finished products, equipment, etc.) when not driving.* Consolidate product and raw materials.* Responsible for conducting a safety inspection of the forklifts and switcher trucks.* Maintain a sanitary, clean, and safe working environment.* Other tasks as assigned by management.Job QualificationsHigh School or GED requiredValid CDL Class A Driver's license with less than 5 points REQUIREDPrevious experience operating a forklift, certification preferredPrevious experience in an industrial setting preferredAbility to lift up to 65 pounds repetitively, 2000 cases per dayBasic reading comprehension and mathematical skillsMust be dependable, punctual, and be able to demonstrate good work habitsMental and physical ability to handle large quantities of productMust be able to work weekends and overtime as necessaryMust be able to work in a hot and humid work environmentMust be able to effectively communicate in EnglishSundance Beverage Company provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender, genetics, gender identity, disabled veterans, or sexual orientation.
