The company is dedicated to investing in advanced technologies, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional engineering collaboration-offering a stable platform for hands-on engineers to drive meaningful improvements in production and quality.Job DescriptionDesign, develop, and optimize Swiss-type machining processes for complex, precision components. Collaborate with machining, programming, quality, and engineering teams to support new product launches and ongoing production. Create and refine process documentation, work instructions, tooling layouts, and manufacturing routings. Provide hands-on support to the shop floor, troubleshooting machining, tooling, and process issues as needed. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and process stability. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality or production issues. Evaluate machining methods, tooling, and fixturing to improve manufacturability and cost efficiency. Assist with capacity planning, process validation, and production readiness for new and existing programs. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and GD&T for tight-tolerance components. Experience working in high-mix, low-to-medium volume production environments. Ability to troubleshoot complex machining and process issues directly on the shop floor. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with machinists, programmers, and quality teams. Solid problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Comfortable balancing desk-based engineering work with hands-on manufacturing support. Experience with continuous improvement, cost reduction, or cycle time optimization initiatives.What's on OfferCompetitive salary range of $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience and technical depth.
