**Job Description:
**We are looking for a full-time team oriented, career driven Swiss Machinist. This position entails setting up machines as well as running daily production.
**What your responsibilities will be:
**
Set-up Swiss CNC machines
Operating Swiss CNC machines
Perform quality inspection on completed parts
Perform preventative maintenance on Swiss CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
Complete tool changes
Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions
Determine/verify appropriate tooling for use in machining and manufacturing operations

**The skills/qualifications we are looking for:
**
Set-up experience with Swiss CNC machines
Operator experience with Swiss CNC machines
Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Able to read and interpret prints
Experience using a microscope
Able to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer
Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
Previous experience with tight tolerances
Programming experience with Swiss CNC Machines
Experience in troubleshooting of Swiss CNC Machines
Familiar with Citizen and Tornos equipment
Able to read and write CNC programs (as needed)
Communicate operation/machine activity requirements to operators
Previous experience in the medical manufacturing industry is a plus

**Education:
**
High School diploma or equivalent
Diploma in a machining related course from a technical or trade school or equivalent experience
