Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Swing Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and optimize production operations, ensuring all processes run safely, efficiently, and effectively. This role is responsible for supervising production line personnel, monitoring performance metrics, maintaining training and compliance standards, and collaborating closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor and cross-functional departments. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven commitment to operational excellence. When swing shift production is not required, this position will transition to day shift operations to support ongoing manufacturing needs and assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in their daily duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a manufacturing supervisory role or similar position. Experience managing production staff and using production data tools is a plus.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in manufacturing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with production tracking software (e.g., ShopLogix) a plus.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both team members and management.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
