Overview

This role will be based out of our Plano, TX & Purchase, NY Headquarters. PepsiCo is one of the worlds leading food and beverage companies with more than $91 Billion in Net Revenue and a global portfolio of diverse and beloved brands. We have a complementary food and beverage portfolio that includes 23 brands that each generate more than $1 Billion in annual retail sales. PepsiCos products are sold in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. PepsiCos strength is its people. We are over 300,000 game changers, mountain movers and history makers, located around the world, and united by a shared set of values and goals. We have accelerated our efforts to help make the food system more sustainable, regenerative and inclusive. From how we source ingredients, make and sell our products in a more sustainable way, inspire consumers through our iconic brands to make better choices for themselves and the planet; to how we support communities and improve livelihoods throughout our supply chain, we are embracing our role as a leader among our peers and in our communities.

PepsiCo Positive (Pep+)

pe+ (PepsiCo Positive) is the future of our organization - a strategic end-to-end transformation, with sustainability at the center of how we will create growth and value by operating within planetary boundaries and inspiring positive change for the planet and people. It is our roadmap for becoming the global leader in convenient foods and beverages and a leading actor in the transformation of the global food system. Under our pep+ sustainability strategy, we're driven by three ambitious pillars:

  • Positive Agriculture+: where we're working to source our crops and ingredients in ways that restore the earth and strengthen farming communities. Including spreading regenerative agriculture practices across our agricultural footprint.
  • Positive Value Chain+: that will transform how we make products in a way that builds a circular, inclusive economy while making a positive impact on the planet and people. Goals include achieving net-zero emissions across our value chain, net water positive by 2030, and a sustainable packaging agenda, targets, and vision to create a world where packaging never becomes waste.
  • Positive Choices+: inspiring people, through brands, to make choices that create more smiles for them and the planet every day. Including goals to accelerate our reduction of added sugars and sodium using science-based targets across our portfolio and offering more products with healthier oils by 2025.

As well as being good for our business, working to realize this purpose is also the right thing to do. Where our food system may be operating in an unsustainable way, it can create supply chain, operational, and financial risks for our company. By contrast, addressing risks within our value chain and the wider food system effectively can create new opportunities for competitive advantage and future market growth, while also supporting the communities in which we operate.
