Advertising/Posting Title Sustainability Education and Engagement Coordinator Posting Summary
The Sustainability Education and Engagement Coordinator advances University of Vermont's sustainability goals by leading peer-to-peer education, developing and implementing sustainability marketing and communications campaigns, managing employee engagement programs, and coordinating sustainability projects and initiatives across the Office of Sustainability. This person coordinates the Eco-Reps program, supervising approximately 20 undergraduate students, and provides program management support for initiatives such as Sustainability Ambassadors, the Campus Sustainability Series, the Sustainable Campus Fund, and the Sustainable Solutions Lab. As the office lead for marketing and communications, this person develops campaign-based outreach strategies and creates and manages story, web and social media content aligned with University brand and communications standards. The position blends student education and development, applied communications and marketing, program and project coordination, and support services to advance campus-wide sustainability engagement.
