The sushi chef is responsible for preparing and serving fresh sushi in a customer-facing environment, ensuring a clean and organized workstation.
- Engage with guests by greeting, acknowledging, and sampling sushi offerings.
- Prepare, assemble, package, and label various sushi items, including custom rolls, sides, and spring rolls.
- Maintain food safety standards, monitor ingredient temperatures, and keep records updated.
- Assist in training team members and ensure compliance with all policies and food safety regulations.
- Market the sushi program through sampling and customer interaction, and manage inventory and signage.
- Communicate customer feedback to management and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications include being 18+, able to follow instructions, and attend scheduled shifts.
