About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join a growing civil engineering, planning, and land surveyingteam. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in preparing plats and survey documents using AutoCAD or similar software. You'll collaborate closely with field crews, engineers, and project managers to produce high-quality surveying deliverables for a range of land development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with survey data collectors and field crews to process and interpret field data
- Prepare office surveys and reduce field notes for accuracy
- Perform basic mathematical and trigonometric calculations as needed
- Create plats, as-built drawings, tree and topographic surveys, and other exhibits using AutoCAD
- Analyze data for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and team members
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Formal training in a surveying-related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in surveying technology or a related discipline
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and reliability
